Job Family Group, Job Family and Level Descriptors:
Manufacturing Group
Oversees manufacturing and/or production operations, including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging. Sets production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources and volume required to meet demand and ensure maximum production quantity and quality. Supports, trains and builds the manufacturing line organization to maintain and enhance operations.
Quality Assurance
Establishes and is accountable for all Quality activities within a business unit or site, including the quality management system, customer satisfaction, quality certifications, quality-related aspects of supplier and contract manufacturer relationships, training, quality audits, and corrective and preventive actions. Works closely with business/site leadership to drive continuous quality improvement.
Professional with significant knowledge within own discipline and knowledge of related disciplines, completing specialized and/or moderately complex tasks under moderate supervision. May supervise employees, focused on task performance and delivery of specialized processes.
• Requires conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and developing knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Has developed a detailed understanding of key business drivers through multiple years of experience.
• May supervise or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Has the ability to understand and influence.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.
