THIS POSITION

The Facilities Electrician position performs Journeyman level work in installation, construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems. This position is scheduled to work on campus Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

JOB DUTIES

Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the employee in this position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Performs regular facility inspection on all electrical panels

  • Inspects building areas for electrical code compliance

  • Maintains, installs, and repairs electrical components such as: automatic doors, fans, lights, receptacles, motor shop equipment, heaters, and AC units

  • Inspects and maintains emergency systems

  • Inspects and repairs exterior and interior fixtures

  • Services motors, bearings and belts on equipment

  • Drives a class B or C bus as needed for school functions

  • Assists in moving furniture and equipment as needed

  • Performs other job-related duties to fulfill the overall needs of Holland Hall
