Les Voies School is seeking to appoint with effect from 22/5/2026, an enthusiastic and committed person who is passionate about supporting young people. The Learning Support Assistant Level 1 helps young people to access learning and teaching opportunities and this specific role is for outdoor and adventurous activities, so if you enjoy sports such as climbing, surfing or cyling we would like to hear from you.

This is a permanent contract of 32.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, term-time only. Hours of work are to be agreed with the Headteacher. Staff working part time will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

The person appointed will be employed by the States of Guernsey and will be based at Les Voies School. They will be required to maximise opportunities for collaborative working, teaching and learning across key stages and shared professional development across schools, and may be required to work on more than one site to meet the needs of Education Services.

The States of Guernsey recognises Learning Support Assistants as professional members of the Education Service. The postholder will be expected to contribute to the daily life of the school community and to give support to the various activities and functions which take place.
