Duties

You will apply expertise in Cyber security to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks, and data through information systems security programs, policies, procedures and goals.,You will develop procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks and data.,You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs.,You will be responsible for the in-service engineering support of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Networks and Navigation Data Distribution Networks installed in the fleet and at land-based test sites and training sites.,You will plan, configure, install, test, analyze, maintain and manage network services in order to meet the needs of the Division and its employees for transmitting data or information in various formats.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing naval Information Technology cybersecurity operations to ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures for an organization. Additionally, your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
