The QA Analyst – Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of Cloud Suite applications through advanced test automation and AI‑assisted exploratory testing. This role focuses on building robust automated test suites using Playwright, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI‑based testing techniques to enhance test coverage, identify hidden risks, and improve release confidence in a cloud‑native SaaS environment.
The role ensures that CloudSuite healthcare functionality is validated through scalable Playwright automation and AI‑driven exploration, enabling compliant, reliable, and high‑quality cloud solutions.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Reviewing sprint goals, user stories, and acceptance criteria to understand upcoming CloudSuite functionality and quality risks.
Designing and writing Playwright automation scripts for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
Executing automated test suites locally and through CI/CD pipelines, analyzing results, and identifying failures or patterns.
Using AI‑assisted exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, unexpected behaviors, and cross‑module impacts not covered by scripted tests.
Investigating test failures, analyzing logs, traces, screenshots, and collaborating with developers to identify root causes.
Validating fixes and ensuring defect resolution does not introduce regressions.
Participating in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to provide input on testability and quality risks.
Maintaining and improving automation frameworks, test data setup, and environment stability.
Reviewing automation code contributed by peers and sharing best practices.
Communicating test coverage, quality status, and release readiness to the QA lead and broader stakeholders.
Continuously learning new CloudSuite features, Playwright capabilities, and AI‑driven testing approaches to improve testing effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Strong experience with Playwright for web automation.
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Hands‑on experience testing cloud‑based SaaS applications.
Understanding of Enterprise architecture, configuration‑based behavior, and role‑driven access.
Experience with API testing, REST services, and JSON.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong knowledge of software testing principles and Agile methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
