Master Electronics has an exciting career opportunity for a Distribution Center Flex Lead - Shift C in Phoenix, AZ.

- Oversee daily work activities for associates and assist supervisors in guiding, training, coaching, and developing associates so they are competently ready to accomplish their daily tasks
- Must communicate clearly and effectively and demonstrate effective followership by enthusiastically supporting, explaining, and promoting leaders’ decisions
- Assist the Operations Supervisors in leading associates within work areas and assigning resources areas that require additional capacity and execute all duties, policies, responsibilities, and directives in a timely and efficient manner
- Following up on DC support staff, project management, Return Material Authorization (RMA) and DC Connect etc.
- Operate material handling equipment (i.e. Joey, Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Pallet Jack, Swing Lift, Reach Lift, and/or Forklift), safely and efficiently
- Work as needed in any department, in any Lead capacity to help the distribution center meet all daily objectives
- Provides recommendations for improving processes in distribution center base on day-to-day observations
- Other duties as described by the Supervisor and Operations Manager
- Investigate and provide solutions to problems regarding external and internal customer concerns
- Compile and maintain applicable associate metrics as required
- Train and develop new associates and assist with the onboarding process
- Ensure all associates are following company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship within all departments
- Follow opening and/or end-of-day closing procedures
- Help maintain a safe work area within the Distribution Center by detecting and correcting conduct and behavior that may place themselves or others at risk
- 2+ years of experience leading people, strongly preferred
- Possess good leadership skills and the ability to develop, motivate, work with, and through others in all departments to achieve desired results is required
- 1+ years of previous distribution center experience
- Previous experience with MHE and other distribution center machinery is preferred
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to move and handle merchandise weighing 1 ounce - 50 pounds
- Ability to leverage desktop technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, etc.) and proprietary systems (e.g., ACD tools (RF), order entry software, warehouse management systems, etc.) in the performance of job responsibilities, with an emphasis on data management and reporting capabilities
- Possess an understanding of all aspects within a Distribution Center
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to read and interpret computerized reports
- Ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities
- Ability to communicate with the associates regarding their strengths and weaknesses within the company
- Possess the ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions with the ability to make decisions with limited supervision
