Senior Business Analyst (Service Now)

Mid Shift – Hybrid 

About the Role: 

As part of the Service Delivery department, the Senior Business Analyst will work with dedicated professionals to ensure the Service Now application is built and configured according to the required technical specifications and business needs. The Senior Business Analyst will be a key liaison with stakeholders including Development and Support teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements of Service Now for various stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with leadership to manage deliverable timelines. Experience in financial industry, including understanding of investment portfolio accounting and investor relations processing is a plus. 

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • have strong oral and written communication skills, especially with other team members including managers, peers and business stakeholders.
  • Have 3-5+ years of experience using ServiceNow
  • be an effective team contributor with a passion for growth, new technologies and automation
  • demonstrate effective teamwork and working relationships with others
  • have experience writing technical documentation and translating stakeholder needs into specific technical requirements
  • utilize Confluence and JIRA to track status of tasks and workload
  • have strong project- and time-management skills with the ability to set and maintain priorities
  • understand and apply concepts of Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement
  • be familiar with Service Now or similar IT Ticket Management Systems
  • Proven capability record in defining services, intents, workflows, SLAs and outcomes 
  • Strong track record in translating ambiguous asks into User stories, Acceptance criteria, Data and reporting needs
