1. Ensure quality and timeliness of the operational tasks in the field of Record to Report and Taxation:
- Perform complex taxation activities and financial analyses
- Coordinate and perform tax and statutory scope with high complexity for FSSC relevant OpCos
- Analyze and evaluate RtR Tax and Statutory processes, and advice on improving these processes.
- Coordinate and implement complex internal and external Tax and Statutory process changes
- Perform month end and year-end schedules
- Ensure the internal tax controls are applied;
- Deliver according to agreed service requirements
- Coordinate and prepare periodical and ad hoc business reports required, based on (external) supervisory bodies and/or legal requirements and legislation.
- Coordinate and Prepare consolidated financial statements audited financial statements
- Perform specialist accounting analyzes and draw up performance indicators to support the (team) manager.
- Collect, interpret, edit information and/or issue recommendations regarding bottlenecks and developments, as well as identify opportunities and risks in the Record to Report business processes.
- Prepare, analyze, advice and deliver complex periodical reports (quantitative and qualitative), in accordance with defined formats and procedures.
- Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting guidelines.
- Prepare complex managerial reports
- Perform activities in line with internal and external controls, regulations, compliance
- Support process integration and strong relationships with interdependent functions.
- Ensure coordination and alignment of financial processes with business processes in other departments within the person’s work field, within accounting financial guideline.
- Proactively raise risks, opportunities and resolving problems; draws conclusions based on analysis and gives advice on optimizing existing practice. Identifies shortcomings in current methods, systems and procedures. Analyses, proposes and (where possible) implements alternatives.
- Answers questions, informs and advises on operational, technical and non-standard issues on request and at own initiative
- Oversee and mentor junior team members
2. Projects and process optimization:
- Take part in and manage and execute (or ensure execution of) assigned business finance-related internal or external FSSC projects (mainly regional and global) – promoting effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operation in line with the project management guidelines.
- Signal bottle necks in (work) processes and advice regarding improvements in processes and procedures, and ensure implementation after approval.
- Contribute and coordinate department process, projects and system improvement initiatives

The role is opened in the Indirect Tax Team consists of 7 members and with direct report to the RtR Manager. Everybody in the team has the same structure of the activities what they are responsible for, the volume of the markets and the complexity of the tasks differentiate the levels within the team.
