Orange Community Education and Recreation is looking for dynamic and organized leaders to serve as Head Counselors for the Orange Lions Camp. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Camp Director and take primary responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of exciting weekly camp activities. Beyond creating lesson plans, you will lead a dedicated team to supervise campers, manage group dynamics, and ensure a high-quality experience for every participant. This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic professional eager to build meaningful relationships with families while making a lasting impact on our community's youth. 

The ideal candidate is a current college student or college graduate, preferably with prior camp counselor experience. We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in leadership, program development, and group supervision who can work seamlessly within a professional school and recreation environment. Applicants must possess a current CPR certificate (with certification opportunities available before camp begins) and meet all general qualifications set by Orange City Schools. The hours for this position are: 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday - Friday. The hourly rate starts at $14/hour.
