Job Description

Assistant Principal of Discipline

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Principal of Discipline to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be a strong instructional leader with a solid understanding of student discipline procedures and daily school operations.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Education and/or Educational Leadership 
Minimum of 35 years of successful teaching experience
Prior leadership or administrative experience preferred
Strong knowledge of student discipline policies and due process procedures
Experience conducting teacher evaluations and providing instructional feedback

Responsibilities:

Oversee and implement the schools discipline policies in accordance with diocese and provincial/state regulations
Conduct investigations related to student behavior and ensure fair, consistent application of consequences
Maintain detailed documentation of disciplinary actions
Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and personnel
Promote a safe, respectful, and positive school climate
Conduct formal and informal teacher evaluations in accordance with district guidelines
Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and professional growth support to teachers
Assist with staff development planning and instructional improvement initiatives
Assist with daily school operations, including:
Coordinating and securing substitute teachers
Managing staff coverage and scheduling
Supporting attendance and supervision duties
Oversee aftercare program
