Position Description
The Mexico Finance Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day analysis of the business financial performance and provide advice and guidance to upper management on ensuring our company financial and economic performance. This is a key position that will have a daily, ongoing impact in managing income, cashflow and expenses in accordance with internal financial policies and procedures as well as legal compliance in order to maximize business revenue control. This position is highly customer service oriented and requires excellent communication skills to work with customers and collaborate with internal teams and external partners. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Key Competencies Required to be Successful as a Finance Manager
- Identify risk tendencies through hard data and elaborate contingency and compliance plan as well as advise on any improvement suggestions, as well as any other problem or situation of such nature that can affect business sales and operations.
- Get involved in market strategies, tendencies in order to anticipate to non-existent situations that may provide a competitive advantage, carrying out business modeling and risk assessment and investigate ways to improve profitability.
- Capable to administrate daily financial activities, consolidation and preparation of analysis and reports, as well as accounting documents consolidation.
- Capable to execute tax process within the established timeframe, such as elaboration revision and analysis of financial statements, and calculation and compliment with tax duties, according to the current legislation.
- Responsible to develop and execute processes and procedures.
- Responsible to gather financial information to elaborate and deliver accurate and on time P&L and related reports.
