WHAT YOU GET TO DO
The Test Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated testing solutions that enhance product quality, strengthen CI/CD processes, and support reliable, efficient software releases. This role is suited for someone with strong problem‑solving skills who is committed to improving test efficiency, preventing defects, and driving continuous quality improvements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Implement automated test suites aligned with project requirements and product lifecycle needs.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous validation and fast feedback loops.
- Contribute to improving automation KPIs, including pipeline stability and early defect detection.
- Document automation approaches, maintain test artifacts, and support internal knowledge sharing.
- Support a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge, reusable assets, and best practices focused on test automation.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including peer reviews and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reliability, and long‑term sustainability.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a proven track record in test automation strategy and implementation.
- Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to test automation, with JavaScript or Python preferred due to their central role in our automation frameworks.
- Intermediate experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines that support continuous testing, validation, and automated reporting.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for data validation and database‑related automation.
- Demonstrated understanding of modern software development technologies and design practices and common architectural patterns.
- Preferred Experience scripting CI/CD pipelines (YAML, Bash, PowerShell).
- Demonstrated Understanding logistical workflows and processes with the ability to automate end‑to‑end integration tests.
- Prior Linux experience, including automation in mixed Linux/Windows environments.
