Job description:

Concrete Foreman

Must have 3 to 5 years as a foreman specializing in concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring. Sidewalks, curb, gutters, ADA ramps, bridges, box culverts, and gabion basket experience.

Dirt Foreman

Must have 3 to 5 years as a foreman specializing in grading, mark/read stake to determine grade specification (GPS Trimble), flagging, excavation, earth moving, and heavy equipment operations.

Project Duties

  • Offer suggestions for value-added ideas at the field level.
  • Calculate quantities and dimensions to ensure accuracy of the estimated budget and schedule prior to performing work and as work is performed.
  • Schedule and manage equipment and crew needs with project Superintendent, Project Manager, and support staff throughout the duration of the project and report any mechanical, maintenance and staffing issues as necessary.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings with the crew and discuss JHAs for the day.
  • Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers and assure. proper inspections and quality control for any materials delivered and work performed on all projects.
  • Adhere to company and industry-specific safety standards to provide the highest level of safety to all workers and community members affected by our working environment.
  • Verify subcontractors/suppliers are briefed on and adhere to DBA quality and safety standards.
  • Assist human resources with individual performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, time sheets, etc., and complete timely submission to appropriate team members and support staff.
  • Review daily crew members' time sheets and compare to job codes for accuracy prior to submission for payroll.
  • Attend final punch list walkthrough with owner and project manager.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration Document
  • Attention to detail and follow directions.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Must have own carpentry hand tools, nail bags, to form or build.
  • Steel boots are required.
  • Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
