JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Human Resources Assistant

Pay Range: $24.00-$27.00 PER HR

Reporting To: Human Resource Manager

Work Type: On-site

POSITION SUMMARY:

Libertana Home Health�s Human Resources Assistant will help to grow the HR department, by assisting the department in all areas of Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a related industry.
  2. High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
  3. Bachelor�s Degree preferred.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish.
  5. Basic understanding of Human Resource Functions.
  6. Proficient in the use of computers.
  7. Data entry experience and knowledge of spreadsheets required.
  8. Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  1. Maintains personnel database.
  2. Responds to verification of employment requests.
  3. Responds to all EDD notices.
  4. Manages employee credentials.
  5. Maintains the equipment tracker.
  6. Manages employee training
  7. Assists with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  8. Handles employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  9. Handles and tracks all employee equipment going in and out.
  10. Manages employee reviews both on ADP and Performyard�.
  11. Back up to Receptionist and Onboarding Specialist.
  12. Provide additional administrative support as needed.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
