Maintenance Technician 

Location: St Albans, VT (IBEW Union)

Multiple Shifts Available

Pay Rate starts at $28.30 per hour

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you help keep the factory running smoothly by fixing equipment quickly and preventing breakdowns before they happen. Your work supports production goals, keeps every batch safe and high‑quality, and helps avoid costly downtime. Overall, you make the entire operation more reliable, efficient, and successful.

In addition, there will be exposure to allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, peanuts, wheat (gluten), soybean and cinnamon.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); an associate degree or higher in automation, electrical technology, HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience as a maintenance technician, field service technician, or comparable mechanic/technician role in an industrial environment (required).
  • Experience with pumps, motors, valves, conveying systems, refrigeration systems, packaging equipment, or automated machinery (preferred).
  • Prior work in industrial refrigeration, food & beverage manufacturing, or automation (preferred).
  • Skills in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, hydraulics/pneumatics, and preventive/predictive maintenance (required).
  • Ability to work safely, communicate respectfully across teams, manage competing priorities, and complete tasks on time and with high quality (required).
  • Basic computer skills for work orders, PM's and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for long periods of time.
