You must:
You must:
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
・Manage highly confidential information pertaining to Crew Members’ medical welfare, termination/status of employment and ensures proper disposal of sensitive information, as necessary
・Maintain a cash float of at least $2,500 USD; responsible for cash handling, selling stamps, currency exchange and balancing monies
・Accountable for providing support to 2,500 Crew in the forms of communication, travel, general information, and signing on and off the vessel
・Engages regularly with immigration customs officials ensuring compliance with local and international regulations with a focus on operational knowledge
・Aids in the preparation of clearance paperwork based on individual port requirements
・Manage logistical tasks orchestrating Crew embarkation & debarkation under the directive of the CSM
・Prepare customs documents for sign off Crew Members ensuring immigration compliance
・Review Crew Member documents and entry status at check in to ensure compliance with local immigration laws
・Ensure all applicable Seaman’s Books for disembarking Crew are signed by the Ship’s Master
・Facilitate the procurement of Seaman’s Books for interested Crew
・Facilitate mass Crew visa applications onboard for new itineraries.
・Create reservations for Crew signing off as B1/B2 – ESTA
・Is key in facilitating effective communication between the crew, vessel management, and shore-based staff
・Along with CSM, assumes responsibility for the safekeeping of over 2,500 Crew Member passports and conducts regular audits to ensure compliance
・Responsible for following up on AIMS in crew cabins
・Maintain a working document of crew VIR for crew cabin and other reported challenges highlighting and measuring major and/or reoccurring challenges
・Plan notices for cabin changes, sanitation, and immigration information
・Report, compile and follow up on weekly cabin inspection reports
・Order Bahamian Books ensuring vigilance for crew signatures
・Ensure compliance with maritime hygiene and sanitation standards
・Oversight responsibility for cabin change keys
・Record declared Crew effects (crew personal property) of each Crew Member
・Provide supervisory leadership for the Crew Services Assistant ensuring all tasks are completed properly
・Maintain accurate records of collateral, and inventory related items for crew ensuring availability outside of office hours
・Responsible for receiving, monitoring, and offloading of Crew lost and found
・Provide overall assistance to the Crew Services Manager
・Assist the Guest Services operation, as required
