Job Description

As the NPI Supply Chain Project Manager (SCPM) at Nokia, you will lead the successful introduction of new hardware in our Fixed Networks supply chain. This role involves detailed project planning, scheduling, and proactive risk and opportunity management to ensure delivery within agreed scope, costs, and quality standards. You will be a key player in driving internal customer satisfaction and optimizing operational performance while adhering to health and safety controls. Responsibilities

  • Lead the industrialization of Fixed Networks and Broadband Networks products from R&D to mass production implementation.
  • Coordinate across R&D, PLM, Procurement, QC, and factories for seamless product introduction planning and timeline alignment.
  • Develop and execute industrialization plans, including pilot runs and review results for continuous improvement actions.
  • Drive yield improvement and optimize processes during early production stages to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Manage engineering change notices, ensuring thorough evaluation, implementation, and effectiveness tracking post-changes.
  • Monitor production quality data to lead corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with the quality control team.
  • Regularly report project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Introduce and maintain the Global Standard Cost for all Fixed Networks products within Product Master Data tools.

 

Qualifications

You have:

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-departmental initiatives
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stress-management abilities
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Familiarity with R&D, testing, SMT/assembly line operations, and material management processes
  • Hands-on experience in EMS factories and managing vendor relationships
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product industrialization within the telecommunications industry

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Prior experience in well-known telecom companies
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related fields
