- Valid ADE Computer Science Endorsement preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional coaching, mentoring, or teacher leadership roles preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

- Coordinate the implementation, evaluation, and management of all district-approved educational technology programs and instructional tools.
- Serve as a liaison between the Educational Services team, Public Relations, school staff, and external vendors to ensure technology initiatives align with academic goals.
- Support and monitor platforms such as ParentVUE, StudentVUE, and other student information systems for effective use by staff, students, and parents.
- Provide professional development, training, and ongoing support to educators and staff on instructional technology tools and best practices.
- Evaluate instructional technology programs for effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with district curriculum standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to instructional software and digital learning platforms; coordinate with IT staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technology initiatives, licenses, and usage reports.
- Stay current with emerging trends and research in educational technology, making recommendations for adoption or improvement.
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to integrate technology effectively into instructional design and student learning outcomes.
- Ensure all technology programs comply with district policies, privacy regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to support teachers in integrating technology into instruction to enhance student learning.

Educational Technology Specialist
JOB GOAL
The Educational Technology Specialist is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of technology-enhanced programs and platforms that support student learning, teacher instruction, and parent engagement. This role collaborates closely with Educational Services, Information Technology, and Public Relations departments to ensure effective use of instructional technology, data systems, and digital communication tools. The specialist will also evaluate technology initiatives, provide training, ensure compliance with relevant policies, and support continuous improvement of academic and reporting systems, including platforms such as ParentVUE and StudentVUE.
