 This position may be based out of any of our Northeast locations listed below: 


New York: Albany, Batavia, Binghamton, Cortland, Depew, Dunkirk, Elmira, Ithaca, Jamestown, Kirkwood, Lake Placid, Liverpool, Lockport, Middletown, Oneonta, Plattsburgh, Potsdam, Queensbury, Red Hook, Rochester, Saratoga Springs, and Watertown.

Massachusetts: Chicopee and Shrewsbury.

New Hampshire: Franklin, Keene, Londonderry, and West Lebanon.

Pennsylvania: Corry.

Vermont: Berlin, Colchester, Middlebury, Morrisville, Newport, Rutland, St. Albans, and St. Johnsbury.



Summary:

In this position, you will be a key member of our IT & Facilities team, where primary responsibilities are to provide electrical, building and technology support to a rapidly growing company! Duties include electrical, data integration, maintenance and IT work. Primary duties include:

  • Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
  • Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
  • Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
  • Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
  • Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
  • Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 ** The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications and other factors determined by law. **
