Get in on the action at Russ Davis Wholesale, the Midwest's premier distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables! We're on the lookout for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team for our Sales-Customer Service Assocaite position in Hammond, WI!

As a Sales – Customer Service Associate you will maintain and increase market share by satisfying customer needs and meeting management/department guidelines, coordinate customer service with the shipping and operations departments, while meeting expense objectives, develop a close working relationship with customers and all coordinating departments which include a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of the sales-customer service team and Russ Davis Wholesale’s Mission. 

Monday- Friday 8:00-4:30pm, and rotating Saturdays (8:00am - Noon)

 

Requirements

·         Experience in sales, and/or customer service related position a plus.

·         Experience with Produce Pro a plus.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Outgoing attitude with a passion for top-notch customer service

·         Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships

·         Must have good organizational skills, prioritization, problem solving, accuracy, and follow through.

·         Keen attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate customer records

·         Ability to be a self-starter.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

·         Knowledge of category management practices helpful.

·         Must be able to work rotating Saturdays.

·         Ability to travel when required.

·         Ability to successfully pass pre-hire background and drug screen.

Summary

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:

  1. Input orders into computer system and update on-line order monitoring and COG’s to meet customer needs.
  2. Maintain customer call lists, contact information and delivery windows for assigned accounts.
  3. Responsible for creating and maintaining necessary company and customer files.
  4. Responsible for managing daily out of stock report as it relates to customer needs, deliveries, and managing customer credits.
  5. Promote and assist with various sales and promotional efforts.
  6. Setting up and sending out weekly price guides, ads, pre-booking orders.
  7. Meet phone requirements and daily objectives.
  8. Answer questions and provide high-quality service to existing and prospective customers.
  9. Provide customer-related insights and data to relevant teams and staff members.
  10. Attend meetings as scheduled.
  11. Participate in industry trade shows and events as needed.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
