nbkc bank is hiring a Loan Coordinator Manager to lead our Loan Administration team. This is a high-impact role where you鈥檒l drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and lead a team supporting both commercial and consumer lending.
This position is based in Kansas City, MO with our @Flex model offering a mix of in-office and remote work.
What you鈥檒l do
路 Lead and develop a team of Loan Coordinators, overseeing daily workflow and priorities
路 Manage commercial and consumer loan processing, closing, and review functions
路 Ensure loan documentation meets all regulatory and policy requirements
路 Partner with Lending, Credit, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and efficiency
路 Support complex transactions and resolve escalated operational issues
路 Oversee loan exceptions, collateral monitoring, and insurance processes
路 Manage construction loan draws, budgets, and disbursements
路 Coordinate Executive Loan Committee meetings and follow-ups
路 Support internal and external audits, including root cause analysis and remediation
路 Help implement new lending products, processes, and system improvements
路 Hire, coach, and develop team members, including performance management
路 5+ years of commercial and consumer loan administration experience
路 Prior leadership or supervisory experience
路 Strong understanding of lending regulations including CRA, HMDA, TRID, Regulation B, and Flood
路 Knowledge of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan requirements
路 High school diploma or GED required
