Description

The Drill Operator is responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of  the drill, truck, trailer, as well as manual labor needed to support project. 

Requirements

    • 5+ years’ experience operating rigs under 20,000lbs.
    • Telecommunication experience preferred, but not required
    • Rock experience preferred, but not required
    • Must be available to work any shift; 40 – 60 hours per week
    • Display high level verbal and written communication skills
    • Regional travel required, including occasional overnight(s)
    • Valid CDL A License required

What we expect
We generally work in the state of VA with occasional stay-over work. Most of our crew members return home at the end of each day. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Operating and maintaining Directional Drill
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to train crew(s) on all aspects of proper drill operations, adhering to safe work practices
  • Drive, load/unload drill and perform manual labor as required
