Job Description
Packers are critical to success at FritoLay! Our Packers are responsible for constructing boxes and packing them full of products you already know and love. Although you will start with FritoLay, we are investing in helping you grow with us. This job can open the door to career opportunities with us or our parent company, PepsiCo.
**This role includes a $500 retention bonus, payable after 120 days of employment**

Because this role is a multi-role position, there are multiple different jobs included in one with varying pay rates.
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Packer:
Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines
Perform regular quality checks at required frequency
Support repacking cases rejected from automated machines or clearing case jams
Palletize cases on the floor in the event of equipment downtime
Responsible for conducting both dry wipes and wet wash changeovers on manufacturing equipment and set up lines during a changeover process
Maintain housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday in Box Drop:
Troubleshoot case erector equipment and clear machine faults in a timely manner
Consistently refill cases into multiple case erector machines (5 to 12 lines assigned to you at one time)
Operate power jack (PIT) to move pallets of cases to and from machines
Communicate effectively with peers and management over the radio or intercom system
Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Sanitation Utility:
 
Cleaning the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products
Working with mild chemicals while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to ensure safety
Reading and utilizing checklists to ensure compliance with validated sanitation operating procedures then filling out end of shift paperwork validating work completion
Detailed cleaning of equipment with provided tools, including scrub pads, brushes, picks and paper towels
Inspecting equipment with a flashlight to verify successful cleaning

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and it's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. Packers are expected to stay on the line until relieved for break. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused. Here are the minimum qualifications of this job: 
You are 18 years of age or older 
You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift 
You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation 
You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation 
You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
