Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer in our Mansfield, MA office serving clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, advanced technology, higher education, and research industries in the Southern New England region. Our mechanical engineers design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process engineering systems. In this growth position, the successful candidate will work in multi-disciplinary project teams – regularly coordinating with our engineers, as well as architects, general contractors, and other engineering disciplines from other firms. Client site visits are a regular part of this position. Above all, Hallam-ICS engineers successfully engage with and satisfy clients and are excited by the opportunity to expand and grow in our business.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills.
• Possess a great attitude, good self-management, technical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to coordinate with different engineering disciplines and the desire to work in a small, self-directed team environment.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or other software design tools.
• Familiarity or interest in learning applicable building, mechanical, and fire codes.
• Familiarity with current good engineering design practices.
