Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Applications Engineer will support business development across all sectors by providing technical and application support in both pre‑sales and post‑sales activities. This role will work closely with the Sales Manager, Sales Engineers, and customers, managing quotations, equipment sizing, warranty claims, repair services, and the processing of purchase orders.
The role also involves close collaboration with sales, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams, contributing to the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the business and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
What you will do
Process and upload customer purchase orders into the ERP system.
Provide phone support to customers, including order intake, quotation preparation and follow‑up, catalogue distribution, and warranty claim handling.
Prepare and manage purchase orders to factories and coordinate their submission.
Support Sales Engineers with technical and commercial quotations.
Perform pump sizing to support the sales team.
Manage and qualify incoming leads from digital channels and commercial campaigns.
Provide technical consultancy to customers across the company’s product lines.
Maintain accurate, consistent, and disciplined management of CRM and ERP systems.
Support the local digital strategy and other commercial initiatives.
Coordinate with logistics and the warehouse to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
Work with the finance team to support the creation of new prospects and customer accounts.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results‑driven work environment.
This is what you’ll need
A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
Previous experience in industrial environments (highly valued).
Experience with positive displacement pump sizing (desirable).
Residence in the Metropolitan Region.
Skills and competencies
Strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative.
Autonomy and discipline in managing CRM and ERP systems.
Analytical capability to interpret technical and commercial requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams (external sales, management, and support functions).
Full professional proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
Intermediate English is an advantage for training and communication with factories.
