Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powerline Foreman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power lines. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring reliable power delivery and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of powerline crew members during installation, maintenance, and repair projects.

- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

- Plan and organize daily work schedules, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.

- Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for team members.

- Inspect work sites and oversee the proper use of tools and safety gear.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to powerline systems.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Powerline Foreman or similar role in electrical or utility construction.

- Extensive knowledge of powerline installation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and safety manuals.

- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, CDL, First Aid).

- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
