Description
To provide technical expertise in order to fully utilize SharePoint to identify operational and processing problems, evaluate alternative approaches, and perform, plan, and implement recommended resolutions.
Essential Functions
- Provide technical support for internet, intranet, SharePoint portal and web collaboration access in the areas of administration and development.
- Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing CAA portals and Web Sites.
- Ensure Web access is established via military NIPRNET and/or SIPRNET connectivity and other Government provided WAN connections.
- Ensure access to sensitive defense information will utilize the SSL and will require user authentication utilizing the DoD PKI.
- Follow Army directives in developing and deploying single sign-on technology utilizing the Common Access Card (CAC).
- Applies current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals
- Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint 365.
- Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
- Deliver services and solutions for clients using Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations
- Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
- Conduct end-user training and create and maintain knowledge transfer documentation
- Automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or related position
- 2-3 years’ work experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with coding in HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.
- Experience in creating web-based workflows and forms.
- Experience with web design and site implementation.
- Experience managing SharePoint as part of Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent organizational, writing and speaking skills for working with an interdisciplinary team.
- Security+ certification
- Minimum of an Active Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
- Must be able to interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills a must
- Possess one or more of the following certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: (Developer Associate Microsoft 365 Certifications)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: (Administrator Exper Focuses on deploying and managing Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 workloads)
