Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7)



Department/Organization: 600202 - Building Maintenance



Normal Work Schedule: Varies



Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Event Management helps organize and support event management efforts for the Athletics Department. Serves as the primary contact for all internal and external agencies/groups and will develop, conduct, and execute SEC and NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Alabama Athletics Department at assigned facilities/sports. Provides guidance, trains, and helps supervise event staff and student employees. Manages designated athletics facilities overseeing event operations, maintenance, and facility readiness to support events.



Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in event planning, coordination or management; OR master's degree and some experience in event planning, coordination or management.



Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
