Job Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Systems Engineer will provide full-spectrum systems engineering, technical analysis, and programmatic support across the lifecycle of Navy Above Water Sensor and Combat System programs. This role conducts engineering analyses, supports requirements development, contributes to system design and technical review processes, and integrates Model-Based Systems Engineering and digital engineering practices. The systems engineer assists with risk management, trade studies, system performance assessments, and technology evaluations. Additional responsibilities include supporting test and evaluation planning, modeling and simulation activities, cybersecurity engineering and RMF documentation, and technical input for acquisition milestones. The position works closely with government stakeholders, industry partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure technically sound, timely, and mission-aligned solutions portfolio products.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.
