Location: Madison, MS (Serving Jackson, Brandon, and Ridgeland)
Pay Range: $26.00–$32.00/hour plus performance pay

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee residential installations, lead install crews, and ensure every job meets our high standards of quality and professionalism.

This role is ideal for a skilled installer who is ready to take ownership of projects, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional installation experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Technical Leadership

• Lead and oversee residential HVAC installations, including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and indoor air quality products
• Ensure installations are completed according to manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local codes
• Perform system start-ups, testing, and final walkthroughs with customers

Team Leadership & Jobsite Management

• Lead and support installation team members on job sites
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite during and after installations

Quality Control & Documentation

• Complete installation checklists, job documentation, and system verification accurately
• Identify and resolve installation issues or on-site challenges
• Communicate job progress and any concerns with management

Tools, Safety & Company Standards

• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Enforce company safety policies and best practices
• Represent Springfield Heating & Air with professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience required
• Prior lead installer experience strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and work collaboratively with installation teams
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and reliability
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
