Our operations environment is fast-paced and execution-driven, with many orders turning in 24–72 hours. We are continuing to invest in talent and infrastructure to support our growth and deliver best-in-class service to our customers.

📌 Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production Scheduler / Capacity Planner to manage daily scheduling and capacity across fulfillment and production operations, including chocolate molding, hand assembly, and packaging.

This is a high-impact, execution-focused role that operates as the central hub between planning and production. The position is approximately 50% on the production floor and 50% at a desk, responsible for building the schedule and ensuring it is executed in real time.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

📅 Production Scheduling & Planning

  • Own the daily production schedule across all fulfillment and production areas (approx. 150+ orders per day)
  • Break down work by department, labor requirements, and item type to meet ship dates and priorities
  • Sequence work to optimize flow across chocolate production, assembly, packing, and shipping

📊 Capacity Planning & Throughput Management

  • Develop and manage capacity models based on labor, work type, and throughput rates
  • Balance workload across teams to prevent bottlenecks, particularly between production, packing, and shipping
  • Continuously adjust schedules to align with real-time production conditions

🏃‍♂️ Floor Execution & Real-Time Adjustments

  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, driving execution and accountability
  • Reallocate labor and shift priorities in real time to meet output and service levels
  • Ensure production teams are aligned to the schedule and operating efficiently

📈 Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor output, efficiency, and performance using Excel and internal systems
  • Improve scheduling accuracy through data analysis and trend tracking
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflow, staging, and labor utilization and implement solutions

🤝 Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with Production, Fulfillment, and Customer Service teams
  • Ensure clean handoffs and communication across departments to support on-time delivery
  • Act as a key point of coordination between planning and execution

✅ Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or high-volume operations
  • Background in fulfillment, assembly, or labor-driven manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, throughput, and labor balancing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and reporting
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communication skills and leadership presence on the production floor

🎯 What We Offer

  • Competitive salary within the $70,000 – $90,000 range
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a high-growth, operationally complex environment
  • A collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on execution, accountability, and results
