Job Description

The Assistant General Manager, Visual (AGM Visual) is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations and visual merchandising strategy to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and uphold brand standards across the property. This role oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of all visual displays, ensuring that product presentation is compelling, consistent, and aligned with seasonal and promotional directives while supporting the General Manager (GM) in achieving key performance goals.

Location: Orlando International Airport, Orlando FL 32827

Schedule: Varies, weekend availability required

Pay: $65,000-70,000 annually

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee visual merchandising standards, working closely with the Visual Coordinator and Corporate Visual Team to maintain brand consistency
  • Execute floor moves and product placement in collaboration with Corporate Visual, AGM of Operations, and local teams
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising plans that reflect brand identity and support business goals
  • Create engaging product displays and in‑store layouts that maximize customer engagement and sales
  • Maintain floor sets and product presentation with regular updates based on inventory flow and seasonal changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Support Center partners: Commercial, Merchandising, Buying/Planning Teams to ensure alignment in flawless execution and Brand Standards
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate sales floor coverage and operational efficiency
  • Act as Manager on Duty, performing opening and closing responsibilities for the entire retail location
  • Gain full proficiency in operational systems, including POS, StoreForce, ADP, Aptos, and PowerDMS
  • Support the AGM of Operations by assisting with stock management, facilities coordination, and inventory control as needed
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention strategies
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager
  • Bachelor’s Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, or related
  • 3-5 years in visual merchandising, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a multi-unit, high-volume retail environment (travel retail experience is a plus)
  • 1+ years of experience in a management or leadership role
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and lead a results-oriented team
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, and project-management skills
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), retail software systems and visual planning tools such as planograms or software design
  • TAM Card (Alcohol Beverage Awareness Certification) may be required, depending on location
  • Additional security clearance may be required, based on location requirements
  • Employment may be contingent upon passing background checks and/or drug screening, where applicable
