Responsibilities:

The Nurse Manager—Medical/Surgical Unit will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in unit-based planning, budgeting, manpower/staffing and education program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.



Qualifications:

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required. 

  • Current New Jersey RN license or a current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in a medical/surgical unit required
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.

  • Facility/unit-specific certifications
