Position Duties

Key Responsibilities

As Parks & Recreation Instructors, you will:

  • Motivating and guiding participants while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Preparing materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean learning environment.
  • Leading instructional classes, demonstrating proper techniques, and providing adaptations to meet diverse needs.
  • Completing basic administrative tasks, including class planning and attendance tracking.
  • Promoting upcoming programs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Staying up to date on trends and best practices in your subject area.
  • Participating in occasional meetings, events, and professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends, evening, and holidays.
