Job Description
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management/Science or related and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or Engineer, Architect or related occupation; or, the employer will accept Seven (7) years’ experience in the job offered or Engineer, Architect or related occupation.
  • (5 years) Supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
  • General Contractor on complex construction projects following cost controlling, and accounting procedures via integrated systems and software – such as: ERP Systems, BaaN, Microsoft Navision, Tagetik, BIM, Tilos, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD Civil 3D;
  • Delivering project reports in compliance with accounting and operative procedures
  • Contract administration - including negotiating, ensuring compliance with terms/conditions, and documenting amendments during execution of contract
  • Variation orders management
  • Value Engineering studies, evaluation and proposal
  • Coordinating development and implementation of project work breakdown structure (WBS) / cost breakdown structure (CBS)
  • Monitoring and coordinating production for each activity, comparing the actual data with the baseline
  • Coordinating financial data related to accruals, invoice payments, purchase orders and material deliveries
  • Estimates ad Forecasting
  • Annual spending projections, cost reconciliations and variance analyses (Earned Value Maethod)
  • Updating monthly internal and contractual construction schedule
  • OSHA-30 (safety)
  • ATSSA (Approved Temporary Traffic Control)
