Job Description

Job Summary:

Coordinates facilities changes and improvements; maintains relationships with various suppliers and vendors of services provided to the facility; communicates changes and improvements to affected facility occupants. Performs activities under moderate supervision.

We are looking for a talented Facilities Associate (Shipping/Receiving) CDL to join our team in (West Sacramento, CA).

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Coordinate facility-related projects including repairs, improvements, and vendor work
• Partner with customers, facilities teams, and contractors to support scheduling and project execution
• Conduct facility inspections and support maintenance needs across the site
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and occasional delivery of parts or materials
• Support vendor management, purchase orders, and invoice processing
• Assist with space planning, layout updates, and office/facility changes
• Communicate updates and changes to facility occupants and stakeholders
• Support emergency preparedness and facility safety initiatives
• Operate and learn systems such as CAD layouts and maintenance tracking tools

Responsibilities

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Experience in facilities, warehouse, or operations environment (2+ years preferred)
• Experience with shipping/receiving and basic inventory handling
• Ability to perform facility inspections and coordinate with vendors
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle hands-on tasks as needed (light maintenance or support work)
• Forklift experience is a plus (training can be provided)
• Class B CDL is a plus but not required

 

Qualifications

Shipping & receiving. And Class B CDL is just a plus

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. 

Experience: 
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
