We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and competitive professional who can motivate and inspire other therapy staff to provide therapy services for both long-term and short-term care patients.
This position is for a skilled nursing facility under new ownership on June 1st, and has both short-term and long-term patients. This facility will have an in-house therapy team with smaller daily case loads, all new equipment, and an emphasis on optimizing time with patients.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Licensed PT, OT, or ST.
Preferred one year or more of DOR experience, preferably in a SNF/Rehab, Assisted Living, or Memory Care setting.
Experience with PDPM, Net Health, and PCC systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains individual and team productivity and budget expectations for the therapy department on a consistent basis, set by either the Therapy Resource Manager and/or the facility administrator.
Recruits, manages, develops, and motivates PT, OT, SLP, COTA, and PTA staff.
Ensures the best possible skilled therapy services are provided to our patients.
Helps residents by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments.
Monitors therapy services to make sure they are performed correctly and encourages when necessary.
Maintains patient therapy records by recording the resident’s progress and daily notes and ensuring that other therapy staff do so on a timely basis, which establishes that skilled therapy services are provided.
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policy and procedures.
Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Enhances therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Be the primary liaison between therapy staff and IDT, residents, families, and insurance case managers.

Appropriately accesses the resources of the company’s corporate offices for consultation and program development support. Seeks out external resources through conferences, workshops, etc., as necessary. Shares professional knowledge with staff, directors, managers, and hospital personnel.
Participate in hospital-wide patient safety program, identifying risks to patient safety and reducing healthcare errors.
Comply with HIPAA regulatory requirements.

Salary: From $97,000-$100,000 annually with an incentive program discussed upon hire
