North Reading High School is seeking a Math Teacher to serve as a long-term substitute from tentatively now through June 24, 2026 (end of the 2025-2026 school year). Essential duties
- Unit/lesson planning
- Direct instruction of students
- Assessment of student learning
- Be available to conference with parents and families as needed or requested
- Work closely with our team of teachers in the Math Department to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained
- Other duties as requested by the Building Principal, Coordinator of STEM Education, and/or Designee
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Mathematics, grades 8-12
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborative working demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
