Located at Still Waters Lakefront Resort - Over 230 rooms from 1 to 3 Bedroom Units
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook Lead to oversee daily operations for our food truck. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily food truck operations, including food prep, cooking, and service
- Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Ensure consistency in food presentation and taste
- Provide excellent customer service and handle guest interactions professionally
- Assist with menu planning and specials as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (food truck experience a plus)
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Leadership and team management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
