RECO EQUIPMENT INC. is a full line distributor supplying heavy and compact equipment - new, used, and rental. Our product lines are supported by a strong Parts & Service department at our branch locations. RECO Equipment, Inc. is a heavy equipment dealership operating 33 locations across three divisions. Our Corporate Accounting team supports equipment sales, rentals, parts, service, and floorplan financing in a multi-entity, high-volume environment.


We are seeking a detail-oriented AR/AP Specialist to support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions in a growing dealership.

Requirements

   

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and weekly payment runs (check, ACH, wire), high volume
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Support cash application and customer account reconciliation and collections
  • Support in new customer reviews process credit applications and review credit authorizations
  • Assist with floorplan financing payoffs and reconciliations
  • Maintain W-9s, tax-exempt certificates, and 1099 support
  • Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate and support with branch personnel across muilti locations
  • Cross-train and provide backup coverage within the accounting department  
  • Participation in special automation projects - creating a better tomorrow.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field, suggested
  • 2+ years of AR/AP or general accounting experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and accounting software proficiency
  • Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines with high level integrity
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with branch teams across multiple locations
