Job Description

Position Summary

The Beach Club Beach Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service directly to guests on the beach, including taking food and beverage orders, delivering items in a timely and professional manner, and clearing and resetting guest areas. This role ensures a seamless, luxurious, and personalized beach experience while maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests on the beach
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter into POS system efficiently
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards
  • Clear tables, chairs, and beach setups by removing used items and resetting areas for the next guest
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service throughout the experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of beach service areas, including chairs, tables, and service stations
  • Ensure all beach setups are properly arranged prior to guest arrival
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure order accuracy and timing
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when necessary
  • Uphold resort appearance standards, including clean and well-fitted uniforms
  • Support team members and assist in other Beach Club operations as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, food, and beverages (up to 25 lbs)
  • Must be flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic math and cash handling skills required
  • Alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in heat, sun, and sand
  • Ability to carry trays and supplies across uneven surfaces (sand)
  • Ability to bend, lift, and move equipment as needed

Work Environment

  • Outdoor beach environment with exposure to sun, heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions
  • Fast-paced, guest-focused setting requiring high energy and professionalism

Service Standards

  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
