Description
The Licensed Plumber will be part of a team responsible for the highest quality installation of solar thermal, heat pump water heaters, and air source heat pump systems for our clients. This position includes but is not limited to the installation of heat pump hot water heaters, resistive electric water heaters, ductless air source heat pumps, ducted split systems, and service in both residential and commercial settings. In collaboration with design, engineering, and operation departments, the master/journeyperson plumber is directly involved in the installation and commissioning of code-compliant systems using company and industry best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
• Candidate will hold a ME Journeyperson or Master Plumbers license
• Experience and a working understanding of mini split refrigeration systems and installation.
• Experience with installation and servicing of Air Source Heat Pump domestic hot water systems and resistive domestic hot water systems
• Experience with boiler control wiring and/or controls wiring
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s record

• Must possess familiarity with Microsoft and other commonly used software/applications

Preferred Licenses or Additional Qualifications
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Experience with installation and servicing of duct work and ducted split systems
• ME - Master or Journeyperson plumber's license
• ME - Natural Gas/Propane Service Technicians License
