Position Summary:

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and restocking the breakfast area while providing friendly and attentive service to guests. This role helps create a positive and welcoming experience, especially during the busy summer tourism season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare breakfast items such as coffee, juice, fruit, cereals, and hot items as applicable
  • Ensure food is fresh, stocked, and presented according to hotel standards
  • Greet guests and maintain a friendly, approachable presence in the breakfast area
  • Keep dining and service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Clear tables, clean spills, and manage trash throughout the shift
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Break down and clean the breakfast area after service
  • Assist with light prep or support other departments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous food service or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Friendly and guest-focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak summer months
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
