Position Summary:
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and restocking the breakfast area while providing friendly and attentive service to guests. This role helps create a positive and welcoming experience, especially during the busy summer tourism season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare breakfast items such as coffee, juice, fruit, cereals, and hot items as applicable
- Ensure food is fresh, stocked, and presented according to hotel standards
- Greet guests and maintain a friendly, approachable presence in the breakfast area
- Keep dining and service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Clear tables, clean spills, and manage trash throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service
- Assist with light prep or support other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous food service or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Friendly and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak summer months
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
