FORKLIFT OPERATOR – 10:30am - 7:00pm - Temp to Hire

Job Description:
Candidates must be experienced and certified on a forklift and able to fulfill the following requirements:
Receive and unload inbound shipments of warehoused food products using a stand-up forklift
Sort, stage, and place products in the appropriate storage areas
Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas
Prepare completed pallets of product for shipping, to include stacking, packaging/repackaging, shrink wrapping and labeling, and move product to assigned location
Accurately load outbound containers, shipments to meet customer demands
Verify product, lot numbers and quantities of orders to ensure accuracy
Report damages or discrepancies to supervision
Perform assembly of palletized products per customer requirements
Have basic knowledge or experience in software applications, WMS, YMS
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Previous Standup Forklift Experience or Forklift Certification required
- Previous Slip Sheet Operator Certification preferred
Additional Qualifications:
- General mathematic skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn and use RF equipment
- Clamp Experience a plus
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to constantly walk, bend and lift
- Perform all work duties in a safe manner and support and participate in all daily safety activities
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned duties
