Your Role on the Team
We are seeking a motivated Web Developer Intern to join our team for an exciting 8-10 week summer internship program. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing cutting-edge web applications in the advanced manufacturing space. You are/have:
- Passion for web development and modern frontend/backend technologies
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (coursework or projects)
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world software solutions
- Interest in manufacturing technology and engineering applications
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our web application for continuous fiber additive manufacturing
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and designers
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices
- Support testing and debugging of web application features
- Document your work and present project outcomes to the team
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related field
- Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with React framework (through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships)
- Familiarity with TypeScript or willingness to learn quickly
- Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Desired Experience:
- Experience with modern web development tools and workflows (npm etc.)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks
- Basic understanding of Python programming
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.)
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or technical applications
- Previous internship experience in software development
- Personal projects or portfolio demonstrating web development skills

Internship Details:

- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
