Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer – Gen AI / Agentic Operations, you will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying advanced generative AI and autonomous agentic systems that transform enterprise operations. You will lead the development of intelligent solutions powered by large language models (LLMs), multi-agent orchestration frameworks and enterprise-grade integrations—particularly with Enterprise Data Warehouse.
This role demands a strong foundation in AI engineering, hands-on experience with Gen AI tools, frameworks and the ability to architect scalable, secure and context-aware agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Execution
- Design and implement autonomous AI agents for semantic search, text-to-SQL translation and analytical task execution.
- Develop modular prompts, reasoning chains and decision graphs tailored to complex enterprise use cases.
- Enhance agent performance through experimentation with LLMs, prompt tuning and advanced reasoning workflows.
- Implement RAG pipelines, vector search and prompt optimization for high-quality outputs.
- Work collaboratively with Product managers and UX designers to craft agentic workflows that are intuitive and impactful.
- Support and Enablement
- Ensure the stability, performance and reliability of deployed Gen AI and agentic systems across production and staging environments.
- Monitor model outputs, agent workflows and system integrations to identify proactively and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify opportunities for Gen AI and agentic automation across enterprise workflows.
- Define technical architecture and roadmap for scalable Gen AI solutions integrated with enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with enterprise IT teams to maintain seamless data exchange between Gen AI applications and core business systems.
- Manage the lifecycle of LLMs and agentic frameworks, including versioning, retraining and performance tuning.
- Ensure all Gen AI solutions adhere to enterprise security standards, data privacy regulations and ethical AI guidelines.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science or a related field.
- Certification in Generative AI or LLM Engineering is highly desirable.
Required Experience:
- 4–7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Generative AI or autonomous agentic operations.
- Expertise in LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and agent frameworks such as ADK, AutoGen, LangGraph, AgentBuilder or CrewAI.
- Experience designing multi-step reasoning chains, prompt pipelines, or intelligent workflows.
Essential Skills:
- Hands on experience in working with multimodal inputs, retrieval systems or structured knowledge sources.
- Deep understanding of enterprise data workflows and scalable AI architectures.
- Prior exposure to agent orchestration, task planning and autonomous workflows.
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g. Hugging Face, LangChain, Transformers).
- Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and embedding techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is strongly preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to ethical AI, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
