Nursing Residency Program Overview (Summer Cohort) 

We are accepting New Graduate Nurse applications for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) in Medford, OR and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC) in Grants Pass, OR for our August cohort, which begins August 10, 2026!

The program is designed to be your "Introduction to Professional Nursing" and Asante is a great place to begin your nursing career! Designed by nurses for nurses, the Asante New Graduate Residency program prepares newly graduated or novice nurses by organizing and overseeing all aspects of your transition. Through a blended orientation of classes and clinical work, you'll be supported both professionally and emotionally by a network of senior nurses who act as preceptors and mentors.

Residency Program Requirements

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing, required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or above, preferred. Plus, you earn more with a higher nursing degree!

License/Certification:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association required upon start.

Additional Certifications Required for Specific Units which must be obtained within 4-months of start date (Asante will assist new grads who will require additional certifications post hire).

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – NICU, Family Newborn
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Critical Care (ICU, CCU, IMCU), Cardiac Center, Emergency Room
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or ATCN Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses – Emergency Room
