Icon Structures is seeking a Skilled Trades Technician to support our commercial construction projects. This role involves hands-on work across various trades, ensuring quality craftsmanship and efficient project execution.

General Construction & Carpentry:

• Perform light commercial carpentry, including framing, trim work, and general repairs.
• Install and repair metal stud and wood framing structures.
• Complete millwork installation, including cabinetry and custom woodwork.
• Install and adjust doors, frames, and hardware to meet project specifications.

HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing:

• Assist with light HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Finishing & Installation:

• Install and finish drywall, including taping, mudding, sanding, and painting.
• Set up and maintain ceiling grid and tile systems for commercial spaces.
• Apply proper techniques to ensure high-quality paint finishes.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

• Diagnose and resolve construction-related challenges in a timely manner.
• Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to maintain project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

• Experience in general building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in light HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Proficiency in commercial carpentry, drywall, and finishing work.
• Knowledge of metal stud and wood framing installation.
• Familiarity with ceiling grid systems and tile installation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
