JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Title: QRG - Quote Representative II
Location:  Bangalore, India
 
This role would be supporting TTI(Mouser's Parent Company).The QRG Quote Representative will develop, maintain and execute cross functional duties to support the timely completion of quotes.  The QRG Quote Representative is accountable for providing excellent service in support of branch and corporate quotation activities to customers.
 
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrates the highest quality of customer service and effectively interacts with all internal and external business contacts.
Evaluates and works quotes by email, system, and other formats as requested. Fills out and maintains specialized reporting tools.
Assist in the TTI Quoting process by setting up the original customers’ request into the IQS application and coordinating its completion with the TTI sales force.
Assist the sales team on and answer questions about the IQS application.
Maintain the TTI Quoting Database by identifying and correcting unresolved part numbers for future quotes.
Possess strong analytical skills in order to analyze the impact of decisions before execution; must be detailed oriented and thorough in work habits with an ability to multi-task.
Attends and contributes to company meetings. 
Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Trustworthy and maintain confidentiality.
Regular attendance at work is an essential part of the job.
Provides the highest quality of customer service, and effectively interacts with all internal and external business contacts.  Evaluates and works quotes by email, system, and other formats as requested. Fills out and maintains specialized reporting tools.
Assists in the TTI Quoting process by setting up the original customers’ request into the IQS application and coordinating its completion with the TTI sales force.
Assist the sales team on and answers questions about the IQS application.
Processes Customized Information Files (e.g. Sales History, SFSD Files) received from the sales team.
Maintain the SOS Inbox, download the incoming quotes, coordinate with the TTI Sales Force
and upload back into the customers’ third party provider.
Maintain the TTI Quoting Database by identifying and correcting unresolved part numbers for future quotes.
Assists with Excel Functions and Macros.
Qualify and respond to special requests from internal customers in a timely manner.
Validate part numbers on the BOMs to capture more line items and conducts BOM audits to ensure accuracy of results. Strong analytical and part number identification skills.  Proficient use of computers, networks, software programs, and other resources.  Learns and determines effective tips, tools shortcuts, etc., and shares this information with TTI’s Quote teams.  
Effective quoting skills with minimal errors. Highly efficient time management and organizational skills; ensures prompt quote processing.  Return and follow up with quotes, suppliers and customer service within TTI’s required response time.
Support and conducts the QA process for the Level I.
Attends and contributes to company meetings.  Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process.  Represents the company in a professional manner.  Trustworthy and maintains confidentiality.  Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job. 
Self-motivated and results oriented.  Works effectively with other members of the team. Maintains a high level of commitment to achieve goals.  Takes initiative to expand knowledge for position utilizing all available sources.
 
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required. General knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications and other databases is a plus.
Possess strong attention to detail skills.
Strong teamwork orientation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibits a strong customer service orientation with a strong sense of urgency to responding to internal and external customer needs.
Must be able to work under broadly defined policies and achieve stated goals.
Demonstrates the ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software.
Demonstrating knowledge of electronic component terminology will be an added advantage.
Be an extremely inquisitive and a quick learner.
Skills evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 80%, Advanced Excel 80%.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Requires any Bachelor’s degree.
Requires a minimum of 2 Years of experience with Quote skills.
