Job Description

Intercontinental Exchange has an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor.  

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze payment exceptions and liaise with customers and management to increase auto-application of payments and process efficiencies.
  • Monitor day-to-day processes and review work product of team to ensure productivity and accuracy of executed tasks.
  • Research complicated accounts and assist with complex client account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with the GL team to research and reconcile cash account discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding escalated inquiries and/or problems within key tools and systems.
  • Serve as backup to Manager in the review and execution of key functions.
  • Facilitate the necessary on-the-job training for department staff on new and existing processes, and contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures.
  • Communicate via phone or email with the collections team members and/or customers regarding escalated issues.
  • Execute key sensitive or new tasks that require accounting knowledge and analytical skill.
  • Perform project-based tasks with minimal guidance and oversight.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
  • Incorporate feedback received from management to ensure performance and productivity expectations are being met.  

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field.
  • 8+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and High Radius Cash Application experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Candidate must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are required.  
  • Must have the ability to analyze and solve problems, prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and have the flexibility to handle high transaction volume.
  • Proven experience adhering to daily, weekly and monthly transaction goals/targets is a must.
